La Cocina is so good. I go here like every week and love it. I have been going to La Cocina since i was 4, i loved the food. The service is excellent aswell! Very nice waiters and waitresses. The ambiance is nice and friendly with a casual restaurant ambiance. I would highly recommend you go to La Cocina!

There wasn't much to pick from in terms of non-fast food choices in the small town of York but the hotel concierges highly recommended this place. Even though the place was packed on a Thursday night, the service was courteous and the food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering.
Great, friendly and fast service. Food is delicious and quite generous for the price. It is usually packed on weekend evenings, but definitely worth the wait. Carry out is always a great alternative!
Passing through on our way to SD. Being from TX, my expectations for Mexican food in NE were not high; however, this place was good! Standard Tex-Mex, but everything was well prepared and tasty. Service was great - looks like a family run place that cares about their restaurant. What a nice surprise!
One Of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at. Everything was super delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was served quickly and piping hot. Chips and the most flavorful salsa ever. This is definitely the best restaurant in town.
Visiting from Houston; the food and Margarita here are phenomenal. We eat a lot of both Tex Mex and interior Mexico food where we live, and feel like we have a very stern measure of food in general - Houston being the culinary capital of the south - but especially Mexican food. I am also a former chef instructor, and my family owned restaurants when I was growing up. Hard to impress me, but this place did. Kudos to La Cocina for rocking this level of homemade Mexican food in NE of all places. Excellent job!
This must be one of the go to restaurants in York, Nebraska as it was very busy. The decor was decent and we were seated fast. Free tortilla chips and salsa which was nice. We ordered their cheese dip. The cheese dip was really good but lumpy as all the cheese had not melted. It was still very good and ate it all up lumps and all. I had the chicken fajitas, my wife and older daughter had a combination #1, and our youngest daughter had children's taco meal. Not a lot of flavor but we were starving. Most everyone's meal came out quickly. The fajitas came out in stages, first the fixings, then the chicken. They forgot the tortillas which came about 5 minutes later. Waitress was nice, food was good and for the most part served us quickly. I was surprised how lax the staff and patrons were about wearing a mask or other precautions due to COVID. The price relatively inexpensive for what you get. Really good value. Their front entry was a little hectic with people waiting for take out, people waiting to be seated and people waiting to pay for their bill. Overall it was a good experience and we will come back again.
